AI consultant in Chicago for small businesses
I'm Nikola Yanev, and DigitalRepeal is my one-person business. I come to you, see how a normal week really runs, and set up the AI and automations that handle the routine work: calls, new leads, follow-ups and the copy-paste jobs between your tools.
What an AI consultant actually does
A lot of products call themselves AI right now, and it's hard for a busy owner to tell what's useful. My job as an AI consultant is to sort that out. I look at how your business runs and tell you plainly what AI is worth using, and what to ignore. Then, if you want, I build it.
Some fixes use AI, like a receptionist that answers the phone. Others are plain automation, where information moves from one tool to the next without anyone touching it.
I work alone on purpose, so the person you talk to is the person who does the work.
Does this sound like your week?
If you run a small business in the Chicago area, you may know a few of these. Each one is small, but together they can add up.
- The phone rings while you're with a customer.
- A new lead fills out your website form and waits for a reply.
- You mean to check in with past customers, but it keeps slipping.
- Clients call to ask where their job stands.
- The same details get typed into several places by hand.
- Your website is old or hard to use on a phone.
What I can set up for each problem
Missed calls. An AI phone receptionist is a voice assistant that picks up, talks with the caller and notes down what they need. The one I set up answers calls to your existing number when you can't pick up, books the appointment into your calendar, and texts you a short summary.
New leads waiting. When someone fills out a form on your site, they get an automatic email reply written in your voice. If they opted in to texts, they get a text too. You get a notification with their details.
Follow-ups that slip. Past customers hear from you on the dates you choose, like a birthday, an anniversary or a regular check-in. The messages are written in your voice.
Clients asking for updates. A job tracker shows where each job stands, reminds you before deadlines and sends your client a weekly update, so they don't have to call and ask.
Typing the same thing twice. I build automations in n8n, a tool that connects apps like email, forms, spreadsheets and calendars. Details get typed in once, then passed along, and you get a written note of how each step works.
An old website. I build websites made to work on phones: a one-page site, a five-page site, or a page where scrolling plays the story, like my home page. Each one says what you do and makes it easy to reach you.
These are a few examples, and there are more on my home page. If you don't see what you need, ask me, and I'll say honestly whether I can help.
How I work
It starts with a walkthrough. I come to your business and see how the work really gets done. Then you and your team walk me through a normal week: where things pile up and what gets dropped.
From that, I write you a plan in plain language: what I'd automate, what I'd leave alone, and what each fix takes, before you commit to anything.
If you go ahead, I build what the plan calls for, connect it to the tools you already use and test it on your real work. When it goes live, I show your team how it works. You can see each step on my home page.
What AI can and can't do
AI is useful for routine, repeatable work, like answering the same questions or writing the same kinds of messages. It can still make mistakes, and it doesn't replace your judgment.
That's why I ask questions before I build anything, and why I tell you what AI can't do, not just what it can. I also document everything I build, so you're not stuck if I'm not around.
Help after it goes live
After the build, I can stay on as your AI operations partner. That means I look after your inbox, calendar, follow-ups and invoices, and I check your automations and fix them when something breaks. For websites, a care plan covers hosting, the security certificate, checks that your site is online, and small edits each month.
Questions people ask me
How much does it cost?
It depends on what your business needs, so I don't post prices here. Tell me what's going on, and I'll give you an honest estimate.
Do you come to my business in person?
Yes. I'm based in Chicago and I come to you, because seeing how your business runs day to day is how I find what's worth fixing.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. You keep the number you have now, and the AI receptionist answers calls to it when you can't pick up.
Do new leads get a text?
Only people who opted in to texts get a text. Everyone else gets an email reply.
